Hello there, so here I am, a monday morning, just watched the Dior show livestream, when I was suppost to be studying. BUT, let's be honest, it's not everyday that there's a debut at Dior, specially after the well-known crazyness after a designer. The show was good, I personally liked it, Raf Simmons kept it simple, sometimes too simple, but all the Dior details were there and he did his homework, there was a bit of futuristics elements as well. It wasn't the outrageous and fancy show that we were all expecting but in my humble opinion it was safe and quite good. C'mon, let's be honest (again), there was a lot of pressure, expectation, desire about this show, it's understandable to keep it simple and safe, right? And in this case, it was the best choice. Were we all expecting a Galliano-like show? They were always amazing but it's nice to see a different outcome.
Talking about my outfit, I think I took to seriously when women were wearing men's clothes. And my very very very skinny grandfather was the poor victim, once he said that he was going to lock his wardrobe so I wouldn't be able to steal anything. Funny. The good thing about this trousers is that it makes me feel taller... and powerful. kk noo... Just kidding. And can I just say that grandpa is totally to blame, how am I suppost to resist polka dots hanging around the house? An interesting fact, my grandmother made this trousers and this blouse, she used to make clothes. When I was younger I was her "model" - she once dress me as Snow White for my birthday and let's just say that that was the moment that I realized clothes can be painful - sorry grandma! I wore them with my Zara shoes and Chilli Beans sunnies.
Can you guys believe it's already July? Is it me, or 2012 is flying really really fast?
Good week to everybody ;)
